Red cloth hardcover decorated in gold with the emblem of St. Mark's parish, and with gold lettering on spine. Clear plastic dust jacket. Stated First edition. Cover is lightly sunned at top edge. Minor creasing to front end page. Otherwise, book is square and tight, and there are no previous owner's marks. Frontis is a black and white photograph showing the central portion of reredos in the new church. Pen and ink illustrations of the old and new churches, and a copy of James Hait's 1764 deed accompany the text. 175 pp.
