Green cloth-covered boards with gold decoration and lettering, in an unclipped dust jacket. Green and white pictorial endpapers. Presumed first (no additional printings listed). Color frontis, and all black and white plates, are present and bound into book. Intact binding with slanted spine. Light wear to extremities of boards. Dust jacket, which is now protected with clear archival mylar, has some wear to extremities, two one and one half inch tears and some creasing. There is a narrow band of water stain along front edge (no odor). Otherwise, pages are clean and free of marks, creases and writing. 384 pp. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall
